Remescar Stretch Mark Cream Review

Remescar Stretch Mark Cream
It's not surprising that my tummy is covered in enough stretch marks to resemble a map of the London Underground after the last few years, which have witnessed rapid weight gain, weight loss and pregnancy.

Shortly after giving birth, my tummy looked like I had been mauled by a tiger, instead of the 'tiger stripes' I see on them motivational Pinterest images. While I'm proud of them, since they represent the battles I've gone through, they were very sore to touch and rubbed painfully against the waist band of my jeans. So I've been on the look out for an effective stretch mark treatment cream...
I wish I'd have discovered Remescar during pregnancy. The distinctive smell of Bio-Oil and Palmer's cocoa-butter (while both great products) remind me too much of a horrific experience of pregnancy. Remescar's Stretch mark cream doesn't have much of a smell, so it wouldn't have triggered my extreme nausea. In the space of one month, it's been highly effective for soothing the sore, angry red lines on my road map tummy.

After using Remescar for the last month, the soreness has gone and the redness has drastically reduced. They are slowly becoming mere silver lines, which is the best any one can hope for as stretch marks will never completely disappear. They've certainly faded far quicker than the marks I obtained from gaining weight as a teen, which remained red and stuck around for years afterwards.

It would seem I'm not the only one who loves this cream. Fiona, a mum to a now 1 year old, described in The Mirrorher experience of Polymorphic Eruption of Pregnancy (PEP), an allergic reaction to baby's skin cells mixing with her own, causing extreme stretch marks. This looks incredibly painful, but amazingly she's completely clear of all of the red angry lines 1 year on, thanks to her midwife recommending Remescar. I just hope my tummy will one day be as clear as her's, 8 months from now.  Watch this space!

One tube lasts just over a month, if used once a day and applied liberally over tummy, thighs, bum, and boobs. It's recommended to use it for 2 to 3 months to achieve maximum results. Here's hoping for an impressive 'after' picture by Spring!

You can buy it from One Stop Beauty, who are currently offering 50% off Remescar Stretch Mark Cream (normally £24.99) until 29th February 2016. Additionally, for every product sold, £1 will be donated to the Katie Piper Foundation.

Disclosure: I was sent this product to review, but as always my opinions are honest and my own
