Wouldn't it be great if you could keep just one bottle in your gym bag to wash your hands, face, hair, body and even your gym kit? Well you can, with Dr Bronner's All One. This castile soap has an unbelievable 18-in-one uses (all listed on the bottle)!
The Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is available in a range of scents, including Citrus (my favorite for the gym!), Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Almond, Rose and Tee-Tree. Rich in essential oils, this multi-purpose liquid soap is gently cleansing and ideal for delicate skin. There's even a baby unscented version for baby's bath time and washing baby's clothing.
If you've never seen a bottle of Dr Bronner' soap before, you're probably wondering what all the strange small writing is on the bottle, such as“Absolute cleanliness is Godliness!”, “Teach the Moral ABC that unites all mankind free, instantly 6 billion strong & we’re All-One,” “Balanced food for body-mind-soul-spirit is our medicine! Full-truth our good, half-truth our enemy,” and “Enjoy only 2 cosmetics, enough sleep & Dr. Bronner’s ‘Magic Soap’ to clean body-mind-soul-spirit instantly united One! All One!”.
Well, there's an interesting back story to the soap, and it's founder, Emanual Bronner (who was a actually a chemist and not a doctor). Bronner, was born in 1908 to a German-Jewish family who had been making soap since 1858. A survivor of the holocaust Bronner gave up his job as a chemist and was seen as political activist, campaigning for world peace and interreligious tolerance.
Bronner would hand out free sample of his castile soap (originally created to treat his children's nappy rash!) at his political speeches. When he realised that people were turning up for the samples and not to listen to his speeches, he began to write his messages on the bottles. This tradition of Bronner's 'Moral ABC' is still continued by today's generation of the Bronner family, who print his messages in small print on the bottles.
So, back to the soap. It's Fair Trade, cruelty free, all-natural and wonderful for sensitive skin, delicate clothes, cleaning your home and space-saving in your gym bag!
On the bottle you'll find some handy suggestions on the many ways you can use the castile soap. My favourite uses are as hand/face wash, shampoo, shower gel and washing my gym kit in. I've even begun to associate the citrus smell with going to the gym so I find the scent of my gym kit pretty motivating!
You can buy the soap, as well as other products such as toothpaste and lip balm, from the Dr Bronner online shop for great value prices.
Disclosure: I was sent this product to review, but as always my opinions are honest and my own

Since the 11th of May 2011, I have gone from being obese to healthy, rescued myself from diabetes and hypertension and taught myself how to cook along the way. I've gone from being the teen that bunked off PE lessons, to the adult whose hobbies include lifting weights, yoga, dance and mixed martial arts.
My main rule is to live a lifestyle that's fad-free! I encourage everyone to stay well away from faddy diets that could potentially cause more health problems than they solve.
It's all about creating a sustainable, enjoyable lifestyle change.
