|WeightWatchers Hot Chocolate Pudding|
So, chocolate lovers rejoice! There are low calorie ways to get our chocolate fix without comprising on the taste. Usually, it's a case of portion control, in which case having a 'snack pack' or the children's version of a dessert solves that issue. Sometimes, it's simply the case that some food genius has took a food and made it low calorie in some miraculous way.
Below are my next 5 favourite low calorie desserts and treats from the supermarket, for when you don't want to make your own dessert. (If you would like to make your own desserts then check out the 5 minute fruit crumble and the really simple fruit flan.)
1. WeightWatchers Chocolate Pudding (As shown above)
Yes, you read the calories correctly! Typically, any other version of this warm gooey Belgian chocolate pudding would be around 415 calories or 350 at least, but then the food gods at WeightWatchers came along and gave us this amazing creation. It's small, light, chocolaty, and it won't make you feel guilty and sickly afterwards. Excellent.
2. Cadbury Dairy Milk - The thin bar
An excellent example of what a portion of chocolate actually looks like. It's just as creamy and chocolatey as the thicker bar, and actually I enjoy it more, if not just for that cracking sound when you bite into it.
3. McVitie's Jaffa Cake Snack Pack
46 per Jaffa cake, so the whole snack pack (consisting of 3 cakes) is just 138!
I'm sure I'm not the only one that has sat with a box of Jaffa cakes and devoured the lot of them one at a time! Well no more, buy this snack pack on the day you want a treat, that way you can only eat three of the tasty orangey things. Oh, and they're low fat!
4. Weight Watchers ice cream sundae
Two flavour options - toffee or strawberry. Personally, I love the strawberry sundae, vanilla and strawberry ice cream swirled with strawberry sauce and with little white chocolate flakes on the top! Perfect for a summer dessert!
5. WeightWatchers Chocolate Mini Rolls
86 per mini roll
As well as being tasty, these reduced fat mini rolls come individually wrapped, so you can take just one out of the packet in the morning, pop it in your bag to take to work and have a tasty treat after your lunch. No risk of out-of-control binging and no huge sugar rush followed by that pesky 4pm crash either.
